Account
Accounts are objects tied to a user's bank account. When creating an account, you need to provide your bank account information and specify whether the account is for onramping or offrampping.
Onramp Account
An onramp account serves as the fiat source for an onramp. For example, to onramp from USD, you can add a Plaid-linked bank account as the fiat source. When onramping, you will pass in the onramp account ID corresponding to the bank account from which you want to pull fiat.
Offramp Account
An offramp account serves as the fiat destination for an offramp. For example, to offramp from USDC to USD, you can add a U.S. bank account as the fiat destination. When offramping, you will pass in the offramp account ID corresponding to the bank account where you want to send the fiat.
Connecting a user's bank account to an account object makes onramping quick and easy by enabling ONE-CLICK ONRAMP. Additionally, we offer virtual accounts that allow users to transfer fiat into virtual bank accounts, where the deposited fiat is instantly converted into stablecoins and transferred to the user's wallet on-chain.
