Wire transfers

Wire transfers can be processed Monday through Friday, from 9:00 PM ET of the previous business day through 7:00 PM ET of the current business day. Cut-off times:
  • Wire requests received before 3:00 PM ET are typically processed the same business day
  • Requests received after 3:00 PM ET may be processed the next business day
  • Processing after 5:00 PM ET cannot be guaranteed
Holds:
  • Outgoing and incoming wires placed on hold before 3:00 PM ET are generally cleared the same business day
  • Wires on hold after 3:00 PM ET may be cleared the next business day
  • Manual hold clearance is available 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday

ACH (Automated Clearing House)

ACH payments process according to NACHA’s ACH settlement windows: Same Day ACH:
  • Morning window: 10:00 AM ET cut-off
  • Afternoon window: 2:00 PM ET cut-off
  • Evening window: 4:00 PM ET cut-off
Standard ACH: Requests after Same Day cut-offs settle the next business day. Settlement: Same Day ACH settles the current business day. Standard ACH settles the next business day.
Federal Reserve holiday schedule: For holidays falling on Saturday, banks are open the preceding Friday. For holidays falling on Sunday, banks are closed the following Monday.

International Payments

SWIFT

SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) enables secure international payments through a global messaging network between financial institutions. Settlement: Typically under T+2

Local rails

Local payment rails like CHATS (Hong Kong) or Mobile Money (Kenya) route payments through banks in the recipient’s country. Settlement: Instant to T+2, depending on the local clearing system.
